Designing and furnishing a small room is a challenge both in terms of space and aesthetics. In the case of small rooms, it is necessary to hide the central objects of the room to create the impression of space. Storage techniques must be both efficient and aesthetically pleasing.

If the space is small, the furniture will be designed to serve multiple purposes. Decorations play a role in gaining space and enhancing the room.

In some cases, to have as much space as possible, a two-level room can be built: one level to include the sleeping area and one level designed specifically for work or an office. These levels can also be reversed if needed, with the sleeping area above and the desk below. The last option requires a slightly more generous space, but the effect is spectacular.

In the dining area, you can save space by storing the central element of the room – the table. There are situations where the table cannot be kept permanently on the floor. A truly ingenious idea is to fix the tabletop to the wall along with foldable legs.

The table can be fitted at the bottom with a mirror, and when fixed to the wall it will serve as a framed mirror.

You can save space in the living room by using a coffee table with a dual purpose. The table can be a wooden box with wrought iron legs; it is perfect for serving coffee but also becomes a work desk when needed. Two foldable legs can be attached inside the wooden box to support a small desk.

This way, the living room can be used as both a workspace and a relaxation area.

If the newborn does not have their own room, a special space is created for them in the matrimonial bedroom. Support rails are fixed to the ceiling for the baby's basket, leaving enough space underneath for a small dresser for clothes.

For laundry rooms and especially the area where clothes are washed and ironed, space can be saved by using two important elements. In a corner of the house where the washing machine is stored, a special support is attached above it for an electric clothes dryer. This saves space dedicated to drying clothes.

Also in this area or even on a hallway, a box with a decorated front or even a mirror can be mounted on the wall. The front of the box will serve as an ironing board when opened. An iron can even be stored inside the box.

It is necessary to consider the weight of the box and the height at which it is fixed for maximum accessibility. If the bathroom does not allow for a bathtub or is overloaded with toiletries, we can resort to an ingenious shower. The important thing here is the shower arm, which must be round.
