Baking soda is one of the most valuable helpers for any housewife. However, this powder doesn't work miracles only in the kitchen, but in every corner you can imagine, even for our own body.
If you didn't know until now how to make your omelet fluffier, we'll tell you. Use baking soda; add about half a teaspoon to a mixture of 3 eggs and mix lightly before putting it in the pan.
The gases we have after eating beans can be eliminated with baking soda. Add a teaspoon or two to the water in which you boil the beans, depending on the amount you are cooking. Before continuing cooking, drain the water and rinse lightly.
When your stomach hurts and you don't have any medicine at hand, dissolve half a tablespoon of baking soda in half a glass of water. The pain will disappear shortly. Baking soda being a base will neutralize the acid produced by the stomach.
The car battery can also be cleaned with baking soda. Sprinkle over the dirty areas and let it act. Then clean with a disposable cloth. It is very important to use protective gloves.
The next use is more than important. If you don't have a fire extinguisher at hand and you don't have access to water, you can pour baking soda over a flame. Unfortunately, a fairly large amount of baking soda is needed to extinguish even a small flame like the one on a stove. It's good to know as a last resort.
Baking soda helps those who have skin diseases, such as eczema or sunburn. Add one or two handfuls of baking soda to the bathtub and bathe normally. The itching will subside and dead skin will be easier to remove.
Even if you don't suffer from any such disease, a baking soda bath will help you relax; add essential oils to enhance the relaxing effect.
You can also soothe a toothache with baking soda. Dissolve some baking soda in warm water and soak a hygiene stick, like an ear swab, and apply it to the painful area.
Hair also benefits from the use of baking soda. After you've been to the gym or if you can't wash your hair immediately and have to go out, put a little baking soda in your hands and tilt your head down; distribute evenly and then comb until there is no trace of powder left. It will be as if you used dry shampoo.
And last but not least, use baking soda to clean silverware. The effect is guaranteed.
