Sometimes, arrangements in light shades and white can bore us. Perhaps it's the uniformity, perhaps a decor without too many personality accents, but sometimes we feel the need for colors and prints. And here they are, in this arrangement! Blue, in various tones, is found in the 55 square meter apartment as a chromatic motif in every room.
For this space, a simple, functional approach was desired, with materials that bring nature closer. Wood, cork, jute, cotton and natural textures were used, with blue insertions as the dominant theme. We will see this well illustrated in the living room.
The living room is a bright room, which also allowed for the introduction of many blue elements. The walls, sofa, armchair, decorative pillows, pouf or other small decorations fully expose the beneficiaries' passion for this color. For some of us it might seem like too much blue, the feeling being that of a cold room.
The wall with the sofa seems to play the role of focal point of the arrangement through its cork cladding and the symmetrical placement of two soldier-type cabinets on either side of the sofa. The decorative plates fixed on this wall also attract our attention. In the rest of the room, neutral greys and beiges predominate, balancing the colorful accents.
The kitchen also takes up the blue theme in a smaller proportion, so this room seems more welcoming. The wood essences of the furniture help a lot, as well as the wallpaper with a discreet pattern that gently animates the atmosphere.
We like how the space around the window has been valued: an extended countertop, along the length of the wall, clad with a blue mosaic ensures a dining area, for enjoying morning coffee, reading or admiring the view. In addition, the created space is welcome when cooking. The same type of mosaic was chosen for the plinth between the furniture units.
Chromatically and stylistically, the bedroom seems to be the most balanced room. Strong colors are muted. We can find them only as accents at the level of accessories or furniture. The chosen wallpaper pattern provides an excellent base for blue and green to stand out in a pleasant way.
The bedside tables created from logs remind us of the nature theme that was desired to be illustrated, especially through materials. The green chest of drawers stands out in this space.
