For this 2-bedroom apartment, the designer conceived a Provençal style inspired layout adapted to a small dwelling. And it turned out wonderfully! A pleasant, bright ambiance, a home you love thanks to its color scheme and finishes.
The main room or living area is an open space, with an open plan kitchen. Together they form a harmonious whole, combined and accessorized. White predominates along with wood essences that warm the atmosphere. Antiquated finishes and a light pastel gray manage to convey some of the Provençal charm while maintaining a contemporary tone, adapted to apartment living.
Ceramic cladding imitating brick outlines an accent area in the living room space where the television is installed. The console-type furniture piece as well as the coffee table evoke the romantic features characteristic of the Provençal style.
The white furniture stands out beautifully against the background of the wooden floor and the gray in the kitchen area, which paradoxically manages to warm the atmosphere of the room. In fact, the same type of flooring was used for both the kitchen and the living room, creating a unified look in the layout.
The space is designed following a minimalist philosophy, despite the insertion of a sweet style known for its richness in finishes and textiles that dress the decor. Space limitations led the designer to maintain a tempered approach, focused on small accent areas.
The kitchen furniture is an excellent choice, and the wooden worktop fits perfectly with the theme of the layout. Decorations are not abundant, but they define spaces through the personality they imprint on each function. The false fireplace along with the clock on the wall describe another point of interest in the room.
It's worth noting how the designer relied on materials, textiles and textures to create tactile sensations through a simple viewing of images.
And the lighting fixtures manage to attract attention through their design and the effect of the lighting on the decor.
In the bedroom, the wallpaper with a very discreet floral motif fits perfectly into the context of the layout. In fact, the décor takes over the color palette from the living room; we find grays and the same wood essence, as well as soft and fluffy textiles that discreetly dress the space.
