The journey of buying a home is often a winding one. Time spent on viewings, decisions to weigh, options to make, and endless budget calculations. Without a doubt, purchasing an apartment ranks among the most important decisions we make.

Today we begin a series of articles aimed at helping you make a decision regarding your new home. This idea stemmed from a visit we made to the Greenfield residential complex in Bucharest. We liked what we saw there, so in the following sections, we will discuss one of the apartments we viewed.

First on our list is a 3-bedroom apartment with a total area of 87 square meters, of which 6 square meters represent the balcony. Why a 3-bedroom apartment? Because it's the type of dwelling suitable for a family with one child, both in terms of bedroom intimacy and common space in the living area.

Before considering interior design, we recommend that you carefully look at important details such as finishes. Joinery, type of flooring, sanitary ware, doors, tiles, and even paint are aspects that speak to the quality of an apartment.

On a solid foundation, you can then begin to build the layout you desire. In the photos in the gallery above, you can see a sample layout for such an apartment which can serve as inspiration.

Natural light in this apartment is a great help in creating the decor. It's an asset you can fully enjoy in this complex. Depending on the orientation, you can admire the wonderful view of the forest surrounding the buildings in Greenfield; in this case, you will notice that from the living room and terrace you can fully admire this panorama.

The living area is designed so that functions communicate harmoniously with each other. Thus, the living room and kitchen are separated by a wall; access is directly from the kitchen to the living room, so it's easy to reach the dining area, which is located here next to the window (a position we recommend whenever possible).

The linear structure of the kitchen, with compact furniture and built-in appliances, offers enough space to move around. The glazed surface is generous and allows plenty of natural light to penetrate into the cooking area.
