With an extremely functional character, this layout aims to provide comfort adapted to the needs of all beneficiaries, transforming a studio into a modern and accessible two-bedroom apartment.
Regarding the repartitioning of the entire space, the result consists of an open space separated into 3 zones and a bedroom.
Minimalism and Scandinavian accents are those that leave their mark entirely, thus making it possible to exploit each space to a large extent. In the case of the open space, the dining area, the meal preparation area, and the living room are brought together.
For maximum efficiency, simple-line furniture is chosen in light, glossy shades. In the case of the kitchen and dining area, luminosity is the strong point, thanks to the white mural and furniture, artificial lighting, and the diaphanous material of the curtain that allows natural light to penetrate.
Scandinavian accents are reflected in natural wood, decorative plants, and "color spots" found mainly in the abstract design of the two dining chairs.
The relaxation area positions a dark gray corner sofa centrally, with shades of gray becoming the main elements of the color palette in this case. Natural wood also has its say in this zone, being the connecting component of the entire layout.
In the case of artificial lighting, spotlights, a concealed LED strip, and a floor lamp validate the idea of ultra-modern minimalism. The accessorizing is extremely simple, the only ornamental objects being two silver balls discreetly placed on the dresser in front of the sofa.
A unique detail of this open space is the partition wall that leads to the bedroom. The two slightly hexagonal sides join two completely different aesthetic planes: one of the walls comes with a brick look, while the other presents itself as sliding and modern.
Including a bedroom in a studio can be a risky choice if we consider the uniform distribution of space. Although it may result in a room with a restricted area, maintaining a simple line, as in this layout, offers the possibility of obtaining a suitable place for rest in an intimate, personal setting.
