Irina Radu from i Decorate is back with a new project on the pages of our website. This time she proposes the arrangement of an apartment intended for tourist rentals. Let's find out more details.
We are talking about a three-room apartment, but with an area of only 48 square meters. The small rooms and the age of the building are among the difficulties encountered, but the positioning and brightness of the apartment have fully compensated.
A modern arrangement was desired, with a special design, inspired by Nordic style and space optimization to obtain six sleeping places; in addition, everything had to be adapted for easy maintenance.
Irina opted for light, bright and cheerful colors, combined with wooden accents for an extra touch of warmth and naturalness brought to the decor.
The arrangement of this apartment was complex due to the age of the building; the thermal, sanitary and electrical installations were changed and the finishes were replaced to restore the concept of modern arrangement and obtain a comfortable living space.
In the living room, the chromatic is dominated by shades of blue and turquoise which combine excellently with natural wood essences. The arrangement is minimal as in typical Scandinavian interiors. Decorations, plants and especially wooden lighting fixtures blend harmoniously to create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
Here, a small dining area was also integrated, with Eames-type chairs, suitable for such a decor.
The theme is taken up in the two bedrooms as well. The arrangement follows a simple line as we find it in the living room. As accent elements, Irina opted for a wallpaper with a graphic print and paint in the same shades of blue. Everything is balanced with the help of white and wood.
Storage areas are also well used to provide the necessary spaces for each tourist regardless of how long they will spend in this apartment.
