Simple, clean, minimal, that's how we could briefly describe the apartment we'll be talking about today. With an area of 49 square meters and a 2-room layout, this space has been designed for rent. Although we are used to such homes being sparsely furnished and equipped, this apartment has the potential to surprise with carefully chosen details harmoniously combined.
The geometric motif predominates in all rooms; it is rendered in various forms, at the level of furniture pieces, accessories or finishes. Alongside the chromatic scheme, the arrangement describes a contemporary style shaped with great taste.
The rooms are small but offer the necessary space for integrating the required functions: living room, kitchen, bedroom. For the living area, the designers chose to integrate a dining area within the living room, placed by the window next to the kitchen. The transition is thus natural.
For the living room, the design follows geometric lines that give dynamism to the arrangement. Shelves placed on either side of the walls and interspersed with modular pieces ensure mixed storage for books and decorations alike. The corner sofa and coffee table describe a small conversation area.
The kitchen space has been optimized by using both sides, having a parallel layout. The cabinets go all the way to the ceiling to maximize storage areas. Following a simple design, with white fronts, the kitchen reminds us of Scandinavian-style kitchens.
The handles of the main cabinets attract our attention in a pleasant way, and the geometric pattern of the decorative tiles at floor level completes the decor in a dynamic way. Appliances are built-in to enhance the effect of visual unity.
The bedroom offers numerous storage spaces, a reading area by the window, and even a small desk. The room seems slightly overloaded, but natural light and white balance the arrangement.
