For this article, I aimed to address a topic that is not related to home decor or furnishing but rather how we feel in our homes. In the new year, I propose integrating as many of the following habits as possible to enhance pleasant moments at home.

Establish a ritual that is unique to you. Savoring coffee in the morning before your family wakes up, reading a book in the evening, or taking a relaxing bath are just a few ideas you can adopt to feel better at home.

Give yourself time to listen to your favorite music. While this may seem harder to achieve in families with children, set aside a day to listen to the rhythms that you enjoy and that relax you; try Sunday or any other day when the house is not populated by little ones.

joy all those small things that you save for special occasions. Any moment can be special; light the scented candles that you only keep for Christmas. Use the napkins or tablecloths that you only bring out when you have guests.

Cook a favorite dish or experiment with something new. Cooking is often seen as a daily obligation and rarely as a pleasure. Change this perception and innovate!

Choose a day when you don't do any chores. Don't clean, cook, wash clothes, or dust. A day or evening dedicated entirely to relaxation with your family, where you can enjoy the moments spent with loved ones.
