Opening the GalleryThese cafes are small spaces with areas between 15 and 25 square meters, and the design is as simple and easy to identify as possible, regardless of the area where it is located. The opening of Deschiderea5 to go Horoscop demonstrates that this segment of Bucharest's cafes is evolving in a positive direction.
From here you can buy a good coffee, a delicious caffee latte, a cappuccino, a refreshing lemonade or a cookie, which you can take away (to go) at decent prices.
Each 5 to go space tries to adapt its design to the area it is located in, with 60% of the design adhering to the typical 5 to go cafe style. The Horoscop location is situated in a building constructed in 1860, a building with superb architecture. Starting from this fact, a discreet integration was attempted so as not to alter the state or image of the building.
As with the first two locations, the setup of the 5 to go Horoscop took between one and one and a half months. Materials as natural and raw as possible were used in terms of finish: iron concrete, stone, and Spanish-style tiles.
The furniture and decorations were made in a workshop in Sinaia, and another part of the decorations was purchased from specialty stores.
The coffee shop in Piata Unirii has an area of 20 square meters, and the budget allocated for the works was around €15,000.
The following 5 to go coffee shops will open in the Calea Victoriei, Pipera (Pipera Plazza) and Calea Floreasca (Piata Floreasca area) zones. And these won't be the only ones. Radu Savopol, the project initiator, has considered opening a minimum of 15 locations in Bucharest since the launch of the 5 to go concept.
