Every time we clean, baseboards are among the hardest things to clean in the whole house. Usually, none of the family members want this task because it involves the most effort, performed in a very uncomfortable position.
This part of cleaning often takes a long time, and our advice is to involve all family members in the process so that the entire cleaning goes more efficiently and quickly.
The Easy Method
Use some dishwashing sponges, get a bucket of warm soapy water or warm water with vinegar and you can start wiping the baseboards. Don't forget to wring out the sponge very well beforehand so as not to let water drip onto the parquet floor.
The Easy but Wasteful Method
Buy some packs of wet wipes and start cleaning. This method works very well, but you might end up using a lot of packs of wipes before you're finished.
The Easy, but Strange Method
Some fabric softener and a loofah can work wonders. It's a slightly unusual method, but soaking a loofah in fabric softener, then wringing it out well, will wipe down baseboards and create a protective space against dust.
