We're taking a break from minimalist and contemporary styles today and seeking inspiration in a classically inspired decor with feminine touches.
Opening the GaleriaSpatiul, the space we propose is 60 square meters and belongs to a young woman who deeply desired a classic-style interior design. Creating such a style in apartment buildings can be challenging.
Choosing furniture pieces and accessories must be done with great care, otherwise there's a risk of overcrowding or suffocating the space with bulky furniture or unsuitable items.
Therefore, the young woman sought the help of GK Design studio, with whom she collaborated on this apartment project. What they achieved will surely please you.
Attention to detail, decorations, finishes and colors are important for any classic-style interior design. Moreover, the design line is easily recognizable through its abundance of ornaments. Starting from the basic lines, the designers adapted the interiors to a more modern living, suitable for our times.
On the one hand, there were space limitations, and on the other hand, the need to ensure functional and unified areas in the dwelling.
If you wish to create a similar decor for your home, pay close attention to this arrangement. You will indeed find pieces that evoke the massiveness of those classic furniture pieces, but their limited number is beneficial for the living room. Moreover, white and neutral tones amplify the space.
The sofa, with a more modern design, fits the context through its velvet texture and added decorative pillows. Cornices, chandeliers, candlesticks, armchairs - all are discreet elements, yet important to the overall decor.
Access to the kitchen is from the living room (see the two glass doors). Continuing in the classic spirit, we reach the space dedicated to cooking. Here, the dining area by the window takes over the theme. The furniture follows a more modern design, with functionality being the main feature in this room.
