The first impression is created in the first few moments when you step into the house you are visiting. And the first room you come into contact with is the hallway. Although improperly called a room, the hallway also expresses part of your home's personality. Therefore, when you start decorating, give it the attention it deserves.
I thought I'd help you with some less common ideas and suggestions for the hallway that I hope will be useful to you in the future.
Open Gallery Since the hallway space is usually one without natural light, you could bring light into the hallway. How can you do this? Through a glass wall or, more precisely, an interior window that allows natural light to penetrate here, into the hallway. The opening could be towards the living room or towards the kitchen, depending on the configuration of your house.
This will accentuate the brightness in this entrance corner and create the impression that the space seems larger.
Be original! Do you like colors? Well, let everyone know that, right from the entrance. 2 or 3 colored cabinets, possibly with different depths for various types of storage. This way, the space will not seem cluttered with the clothes and shoes used daily, all being neatly placed in cabinets. The colors will attract the eye and offer you a perspective on your personality.
Choose a vibrant colored wallpaper like the one in the image in the gallery and thus you will get out of the monotony of the space in the hallway that you didn't think you would ever be able to change. Make sure to illuminate it properly so that you can highlight the new decor.
How to be original with an old or refurbished piece of furniture? Put it on display right from the hallway. A vintage dresser next to a window-type mirror, a few small decorations and there you have it - a special arrangement.
Is your hallway taking up a few square meters at the expense of the living room? Think functionally and efficiently. Install the bookcase in the hallway like the one in the proposed arrangement and free up space from the living room.
