Certainly, you have faced such a problem at least once. In various areas of the house, there are those places, usually corners that you don't know how to use in an aesthetic and functional way at the same time. Read below to see what ideas I found for you.
Open GalleryIn a small space, every square meter counts. And when you can no longer find solutions, approach unconventional variants. Such as the space behind the window. A few open shelves and a dresser with drawers will be of great help to you.
Of course, all adapted to the space you have available, which means that you will make those furniture bodies to order.
What else can you put in a corner or on a free wall? A suspended countertop that you can use as a desk, reading table, makeup table or maybe a TV stand. Being suspended, it will not take up space on the floor; even if your bedroom is a small one, such a piece of furniture will leave you some space to pass between the bed and the countertop.
For open-plan kitchens, this solution of extending the countertop will offer you more space, and even a place to eat (see image number 3).
In a small or long and narrow room, you can use the space around the window to create several storage areas (as in the arrangement in the gallery). A long shelf fixed above the window and then a countertop with a radiator mask integrated and drawers for storage.
Dreaming of a reading nook by the window? Then arrange a bench by the window. Keep in mind that the window parapet should be higher than 45 cm and there should be no radiator.
When you don't have enough space for a desk in the living room, then install it in the bedroom. Where? Between two wardrobes. A countertop 80 cm long and 40 cm wide, a comfortable chair, and here is a chic little desk for you.
We love to eat outdoors or as close to the outside as possible, caressed by natural light. But if you don't have enough space to set up such a place on the balcony, how about placing the table by the window, towards the exit outside. A bench can be fixed to the wall with soft cushions and the rest of the necessary chairs.
