A well-organized kitchen with everything you need at hand is all a housewife desires. And because we want to see only happy housewives, we propose below some solutions for better storage and increased functionality in the kitchen.

If you are among those who have a pantry integrated into the kitchen space, consider the following solution: a sliding door to replace the hinged one that takes up space by opening inward or outward. With a sliding door, you get rid of headaches and gain a neat and organized look.

When cooking, you want to have both the necessary utensils and the spices that are gradually added to your dish at hand. And how good it would be to have them all in the same place, preferably organized in containers with their names on them. Place them in a cupboard near the stove/hob.

Onions and garlic are vegetables that are not stored in the refrigerator, but in dry places, away from light. After buying them from the market, it would be good to take them out of the bags and place them either in a basket or in a net hung from a hook in the pantry (see the suggestion in the photo gallery). This way, you prolong their life and can access them very easily.

If the space in the kitchen is not very generous, you can optimize storage by opting for cabinets up to the ceiling (preferably with a white front). This way, you will have more space for dishes, cups and glasses, as well as for spices or other products that you want to keep at hand.

And because we've been talking about organization, choose a suitable cutlery holder which you can then insert into the corresponding drawer. The utensils or pans you use more often could be stored in plain sight, hung on a special holder. Knives can also be displayed on a magnetic strip and used much more easily, whether you are slicing bread, a piece of meat or cutting a vegetable.

In the same way, you can think of solutions for storing pots and pans inside the cupboard.

For those whose space allows it, a piece of furniture such as an island will offer extra storage in addition to cupboards and drawers. The kitchen island is designed as a multifunctional solution that adapts to the space, contributing to better use and efficiency when working in the kitchen.
