It managed to surprise us. Cheerful, colorful and at the same time equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living, this studio apartment provides a true source of inspiration for anyone who wants to furnish a small space.
The young beneficiary of this renovation desired a bright and warm space decorated with elements that spoke to her passion for travel. Unable to find suitable solutions on her own, she decided to enlist the help of a designer to assist her in seeing things from a more functional and coherent perspective.
For 23 square meters, it may seem difficult to define each function separately. Difficult, but not impossible, because we can see in this studio apartment how the kitchen, living room, and storage spaces interlink coherently and blend harmoniously without giving the impression of clutter.
The kitchen, which we might better describe as a kitchenette, is excellently designed within the space. In an open plan communicating with the living room, the parallel arrangement of furniture provides both cooking and storage space. The mirrored wall successfully adds depth to the space and, above all, creates the illusion that the kitchen is actually larger.
Appliances are built-in for an added sense of unity, and the white furniture along with natural light happily amplifies the space. And because every home needs a place to eat, here it is, ingeniously arranged as a continuation of the kitchen. Practically, the kitchen furniture extends in the form of a window-side divan and a dresser unit.
This approach creates more storage zones while also providing seating around the table.
The chosen sofa integrates perfectly into the limited living space and, being extendable, also serves as a sleeping area. As mentioned earlier, the choice of theme for the painting is not random. Alongside the television and bookcase, a pleasant mini-living room is created.
