How many of us haven't dreamed, at least once, of the bohemian charm of an attic apartment, from where we could admire the cityscape? To feed our shared dream, we propose a design that speaks to our souls: an apartment in Stockholm, with a surface area of 79 square meters and an enviable terrace.
Not only is the location admirable, but the interior design also inspires us with its details that define the space. Whether we're talking about the kitchen or the bedroom, the decor breathes personality and that lived-in feeling, with accessories that leave their mark on the design at every turn.
Small imperfections are what give the space its charm. Starting from the unusual configuration of the interiors to the wall finishes or furniture with patina or an unfinished look, together they create a bohemian home, with an air seemingly plucked from another era.
The design maintains a functional feel against the backdrop of a slightly reinterpreted Scandinavian style (we're still talking about an apartment located in the country where this style originated). Each function is well-defined and offers the necessary comfort. The emphasis is on the living area, a generous space that includes both the kitchen and a dining area.
There is only one delimitation – a wall separating the kitchen from the rest of the living room, but still with an opening towards the designated dining area. The spaces thus communicate with each other, and circulation flows naturally.
The kitchen has been designed in a parallel arrangement of furniture, providing ample storage space and room for cooking. Large appliances are integrated for the visual unity of the design. We love the shelves on which various kitchen-specific objects and more are displayed. From here, we naturally move to the designated dining area.
The raw wood of the table top or the vintage chairs, as well as the bench, describe the tone of a decor that we will find throughout the entire design.
The piano standing majestically in the living area attracts all eyes and is undoubtedly the centerpiece of the decor. No detail is left to chance. The sofa and overlapping coffee tables (attention! a model that is very popular this year) create a conversation area as well as a place for relaxation or reading.
Decorations abound here, all blending harmoniously within the overall context.
We reach the hallway. Here, the slightly darkened space is compensated by the white of the walls and furniture. The wardrobes are of medium height to avoid the impression of suffocation. Accessories, plants, and discreet decorations give personality to a space often ignored.
