Studio Terkultura had the mission of furnishing a 3-bedroom apartment in Budapest, which would later be rented out for short periods to tourists and others. The project was coordinated by Petra Nikoletti, and the result is truly admirable.
One of the great assets of this apartment is the superb view over the city, from where you can admire the landmark buildings of Budapest.
Designed in a beautiful Scandinavian style with boho-chic influences, the interior design is dedicated to young tourists who come to explore a beautiful city that offers them multiple options for spending their time. The space itself aims to be a reflection of the exterior in the interior, with a fresh, modern approach and an original interpretation of design styles.
The living area is an open space with a generous living room and a kitchen to match. The brick wall, a huge ficus tree, the fluffy rug, comfortable armchairs and a sofa with many colorful cushions, all illuminated by a pendant light fixture, introduce us into a pleasant bohemian atmosphere where you can spend time with friends.
The kitchen is just as spacious, communicating directly with the living room (there is no door separating the two rooms). The dining area has been integrated into the kitchen space for practical reasons. A long table complemented by industrial-style chairs and two pendant lights provide the necessary space for a larger group who decides to rent the entire apartment.
The photo wallpaper depicting one of the famous bridges over the Danube in Budapest completes the room in an original way.
The bedrooms maintain a pragmatic note, considering the purpose for which the apartment is used. The floral patterned wallpaper, as well as the plants found in all rooms, create an authentic Scandinavian decor. Prints, floral motifs and stylized paintings show us the boho chic side of the interior design.
We love the feminine and bohemian feel of the master bedroom, as well as the masculinity of the geometric pattern and the black-and-white contrast in the smallest room.
