Studio 2.1 The team at returns to our pages with a new project, a wonderful interior design of a two-room apartment in Bucharest. Find out more details below.

The beneficiary, passionate about travel, wanted a home where colors would predominate like in a landscape from his vacations. Moreover, this passion harmoniously combines with his work which involves frequent trips both domestically and internationally.

Starting from these premises, Cristina and Radu tried to combine the useful with the pleasant, namely the necessary functions of a two-room apartment with an ambiance that reflects as much as possible the client's hobby.

They opted for a neutral base, with white, gray and wood tones, adding accents of yellow and blue in different proportions to recreate the Mediterranean style ambiance. And the finishes used contribute fully to this effect, especially the decorative tiles found in the kitchen and the two bathrooms.

Karelia oak parquet was used for the rest of the floors, which manages to imprint warmth and elegance into the interior.

In the living room, the layout follows a minimalist line so that the space remains as airy and comfortable as possible. A generous sofa (from Divanissimi), a TV area and a small dining area near the window were integrated.

To optimize the space in the room, the architects designed a piece of furniture that serves both as a TV stand and a bench, complementing the seating area around the table. At the window, a relaxation area with a bench was arranged again.

As highlights, it is worth noting the exposed concrete wall which brings a touch of masculinity to the decor, and the blue stripe that accompanies the sofa line.

For the almost 7 square meter kitchen, a functional approach was desired, suitable for the beneficiary's needs. Thus, the work areas along with the appliances were arranged linearly, with enough space for storage and countertop space.

Considering the configuration of the kitchen, the architects opted for a bar table with two custom-made stools, thus having more room for smooth circulation. The decorative cement tiles add a splash of color, while the wall decorated with writable paint contributes to the personal touch of the space.
