In a small apartment, optimization is key for comfortable living. For the design of this 30 square meter studio, Inside Story focused on such an approach, managing to combine functionality with aesthetics, creating a personal space tailored to the beneficiary's needs.
Open GalleryDespite the limited space, this design includes a small bedroom, and the living room combines a seating area with a kitchen. Functions are rendered through basic furniture pieces adapted to the existing space.
From the sofa to modular units, a compact kitchen, and a bedroom with a bed that occupies almost the entire space, an efficient solution was achieved to make this studio habitable and even aesthetically pleasing.
But the charm of this design lies in the cat stickers decorating the walls. You might recognize the friendly character from the animated series Simon’s cat, which brings a humorous touch to the space. You can also integrate such stickers according to your preferences. They work wonders in children's rooms or in the kitchen with specific themes.
They are an inexpensive and unique way to transform a mundane decor.
As small as this space is, it is equally well thought out. Take, for example, the small kitchen. Here, compact, simple, white furniture incorporates a refrigerator (small, admittedly), a washing machine, a stove, and a hood. Next to it, a folding table with two chairs provides a dining area. When not in use, both the table and chairs are folded away to free up space.
