In the chaos of everyday life, we are left with little time for truly important things: family, cooking, reading, or perhaps watching a movie.
When this family started renovating their apartment, they had these things in mind. Since it wasn't possible to change the layout of the living area, they thought of making the kitchen a place where the whole family could gather, cook and eat together, watch TV, or simply relax and chat.
Thus, the kitchen became their favorite place at home.
First of all, it should be mentioned that this kitchen has an area of 10 square meters, which allowed for a more relaxed approach to the design. More precisely, with this space available, the family was able to create a cooking area equipped with everything necessary, including storage and appliances.
On the other side of the room, a dining area was designed, complemented by a seating area in the form of a bench, under which additional storage spaces were provided. A vertical partition separates this sector of the kitchen from the unit that incorporates the refrigerator placed right next to the door. As a connecting zone between the cooking space and the dining area, a television was also mounted.
A palette of neutral colors was desired for the design, with only the dining area being highlighted by painting the wall with a sunny yellow. Special attention was also paid to lighting so that the entire room received plenty of light, including the worktop area, table, or upper cabinets.
Overall, the design of this kitchen inspires a feeling of comfort thanks to the colors, but also to the functional arrangement of everything necessary for cooking, from furniture and appliances to storage spaces and a pleasant dining area for the whole family.
