Today we invite you to discover the interior design of a 65 square meter apartment created for a young couple from Sankt Petersburg. They desired a youthful, cheerful and welcoming space with a modern design. Open GalleryFor a two-bedroom apartment, the surface area is generous (usually, from 60 square meters upwards we encounter three-bedroom configurations).
Therefore, designers did not encounter problems integrating storage spaces, and the kitchen remained a self-contained room. In small spaces, and where possible, the kitchen is joined with the living room to create a more spacious area.
One notable modification made in this design is the removal of the wall between the living room and hallway, replaced with a glass structure. This allows natural light to penetrate into the hallway, creating continuity between the two spaces.
The living room is the quintessential social space. Its design revolves around a conversation area complemented by a media zone featuring a projector and audio system. The young residents desired this approach for the room, envisioning it as a space to spend time with friends. Consequently, the decor is airy, with bold prints and pops of color that lend dynamism.
The reading nook is noteworthy, as are the shelves for storage which provide display space for books or small decorations.
The kitchen perfectly complements the stylistic design. The graphic motifs continue on the wallpaper that decorates the entire wall with the table, as well as on the drapes and the tiles between the furniture units.
The geometric pattern extends to the level of the lighting fixtures; nothing is accidental in this arrangement, and every detail harmoniously composes the original story of this apartment.
The bedroom decor seems plucked from nature: the green bed, the wallpaper with tree trunks, the wood essence of the parquet, the wooden countertop serving as a desk, and the paintings all succeed in creating a restful, relaxing ambiance.
The choice of the star-patterned rug and the lighting fixture reminiscent of tree branches is not accidental! The designer has excellently integrated functionality into this arrangement: the two wardrobes at the entrance to the room provide ample storage space for both partners. A workspace has been designed by the window.
