Besides the bathroom, the bedroom is the most intimate room in a home. Therefore, we need these spaces to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing, that detail that personalizes them within the entire arrangement.

Discovering this bedroom, I understood how well it embodies this idea of functional space with an original element that is both appealing and attractive.

This bedroom directly connects to the bathroom, a concept not often found in Romanian apartments, where usually a single bathroom is located in the hallway and is used by both family and guests. I like this idea because it offers an extra touch of intimacy.

Because the surface area of this bedroom is small, the designer relied on tricks to amplify the space. The mirror above the bed adds depth and creates the illusion that the entire room appears larger than it actually is. On the wall opposite the window, a dressing room has been created where clothes and shoes are stored alike.

The predominant white supports the effect of the mirror and, in addition, reflects natural light. Against this neutral background, the play of colors energizes the decor and makes it pleasant. Yellow is a solar color that imprints good mood and well-being. The red pendant lamp comes as a small pop of color that we also find in the print of the decorative pillows.

Thus, the elements offer coherence to the arrangement.

The yellow bedside table also acts as a point of interest that attracts the eye, both through its color and design. Yellow can also be found in the bathroom in the form of the cabinet under the sink and some open shelves.

Since there wasn't enough space to bring a dresser into the bedroom, the designer chose to mount a shelf along the entire length of the wall. An original idea for creating additional storage spaces, especially for various decorations or perhaps books.
