I often tell you in my articles that the size of a home doesn't matter, but rather how you choose to personalize it, how you choose to transform it into your home. This is what I first thought when I saw the images of this design in Prague. Because yes, in Prague, as in Bucharest or any other city, there are small spaces, 2-room apartments like this one of 45 square meters.

The colors, paintings, every detail is chosen with great taste and reflects a part of the personality of the person who lives there. No element seems to be chosen at random, all communicating harmoniously both chromatically and functionally.

The apartment includes a living area with spaces for cooking, dining or conversation, as well as a separate bedroom. The small kitchen communicates directly with the living space through a countertop with legs that functions as a dining area. A suspended furniture unit along with a glass coffee table and metal frame, as well as a comfortable sofa, make up a chic mini-living room.

But all of these would be simple pieces of furniture without the paintings, decorative pillows, curtains, decorative objects, plants that come to complete the decor one by one.

You might be tempted to think that there are too many colors for a small apartment. But they are so well balanced and in appropriate proportions so as not to tire the eye. The intensity of yellow is tempered by grays, but highlighted by the white of the furniture or walls.

The navy blue of the sofa provides stability, while the stripes of the rug go perfectly with the geometric pattern of the decorative pillows and curtains. Everything chosen with great care and not at all randomly!

In the bedroom, the accent wall with a turquoise blue and the yellow bedside table and gray headboard managed to surprise me in a pleasant way. Look at the ceiling and how they chose to leave that white stripe to take away from the height of the room! An interesting trick which, surprisingly, works well in this chromatic context.

There is even space for a desk in this bedroom space, and the wardrobe has been fitted into the corner (using every meter of the room to its maximum), with mirrored doors being a smart trick to visually enlarge a room while reflecting natural light from the windows at the same time.

I admit, I never thought about a black ceiling for the bathroom! But here I found the design that proves how well a black and white combination can look in a bathroom with a black ceiling, black tiles and white faience. And it's not oppressive at all because with the right lighting you get the desired effect. Impeccable!
