As mentioned in a previous article this year...exposed brick It remains on trend. And, not by chance, this apartment came our way to prove once again the designers' and architects' attachment to this trend. We are talking about the design of a 2-room apartment in Poland where the star is brick.
This apartment surprises with its blended style of industrial, Scandinavian, and perhaps a touch of retro, all while remaining functional despite its reduced living space.
The living area encompasses the living room and kitchen which are directly connected. The decor is minimalist, with furniture kept to a minimum for each function. Decorations and finishes more than compensate, offering diverse sensory experiences: from exposed brickwork to the kitchen wallpaper to the small bioethanol fireplace.
To increase space and create depth, the wall behind the sofa was clad with mirrors. The effect is as desired, and natural light from the windows enhances brightness. To the same end, kitchen furniture was chosen in white. In contrast, the front between the furniture units was decorated with black paint.
They say that details make the difference. Certainly, this applies perfectly here. The exposed brick framed like a painting, the industrial-style lighting fixtures, or the wallpaper all shape the personality of this design.
The bedroom will also feature the same exposed brick theme, framed to highlight its beauty. The small space necessitates a predominance of white. Retro-style lighting fixtures replace traditional bedside lamps, providing pleasant and relaxing illumination.
We hope that the ideas in this project are helpful to you and will inspire you whether you are furnishing a similar or larger space!
