The layout of this 2-bedroom apartment caught our attention from the first image: a modern and functional approach designed for a young couple passionate about photography and painting.
Open Gallery Although the apartment's surface area is limited, it didn't stop the designers from creating a creative interior design. The beneficiaries wanted a space of their own, intimate and relaxing, with details that represent them. What resulted? A modern, chic, and ingenious décor.
The living room is undoubtedly the calling card of this interior design. Conceived in a minimalist line, the space offers us a sample of good taste mixed with the functionality necessary for a small space. A comfortable sofa, a coffee table, and a library-type piece of furniture that also incorporates a workspace – this is a brief description of this room. However, the details give it a unique personality.
By far, the oversized painting on the wall with the sofa is the centerpiece, being a gift from a dear friend of theirs. We love the subtle play of geometries that imprint a contemporary character on the space. From the print of the curtains and decorative pillows to the shape of the coffee table and the arrangement of the parquet tiles.
We said about this 2-bedroom apartment that it was ingeniously approached. The initial configuration underwent modifications, so the space now offers us a dining area, a kitchen located in the hallway, and a slightly reduced bedroom. At first glance, the modification seems a bit strange, but when viewed as a whole, it appears more coherent and even adds a touch of originality to the house.
The sliding doors once opened allow the living room to communicate directly with the rest of the space, namely with a small dining area and then with the kitchen. And here too we have creativity in a youthful and modern décor alike.
The brick cladding accentuates textures in contrast to the wood finishes, and the artificial lighting, absolutely necessary in an almost dark area of the house, creates almost artistic scenarios. The light fixture above the table or the circuit of black-marked spotlights, as well as the ambient LED lighting, highlight the arrangement.
The kitchen area is small and compact. Furniture arranged in an L shape with built-in appliances offers the essentials for cooking light meals for two. We like the contrast between the glossy MDF fronts of the main units versus the veneer MDF of the hanging cabinets. Again, LED strips ensure the necessary accent lighting in the worktop area.
