Gemelli Design Studio, from Sofia, Bulgaria, created an interesting hotel concept under the signature of sisters Branimira Ivanova and Desislava Ivanova, called “Camera de hotel in pictura”.
The concept is represented by captivating interiors that simply take your breath away. The idea is to convert surfaces in apartments, starting from walls to the ceiling, into a three-dimensional sculpture.
The materials used for the sculpture are made of luxurious ceramic tiles and transform the room into an extraordinary, controversial space that sparks curiosity. When it comes to colors, the idea was to match them all, with the color palette starting from the one of the tiles.
Green and yellow were mainly used for the interiors, incorporated with warm colors, thus creating a rather cozy and very welcoming space, despite the fact that a lot of tile was used. The furniture items in the room are also made of ceramic tiles, another unusual but very interesting aspect.
In such a hotel, guests can only feel as if they have stepped into a work of art, precisely because of the three-dimensional concept used in the project's realization.
