We are talking today about a 65 square meter apartment designed for a young family currently consisting of 2 members. The third room is currently used as an office but can easily be transformed into a child's room if they wish at some point.
As always, the concept started from the idea that this couple could be common friends who share a passion for design and therefore will look for innovative solutions to personalize their home.
The architects wanted to create a functional space with a warm and family atmosphere. The inspiration is Nordic, where wood ensures unity, while different shades of gray create color accents and define each space individually. On this already created background, the atmosphere was strengthened with various colors present only in accessories, plants or furniture pieces.
Coherence and fluidity were desired, so the spaces were treated both in detail, separately, and together to maintain the same warm and welcoming atmosphere from the entrance, kitchen, and to the night area.
Unity is ensured, first of all, by the wooden-look parquet and the different shades of gray, and then by the furniture pieces, made in the same style but adapted to each function.
As in the case of other apartments, IKEA furniture was used for the kitchen and dressing room, while custom-made furniture was made by Delta Studio and Vertigo Design, according to the architects' sketches and instructions.
The sofa is also IKEA, the lighting fixtures were purchased from Albora Concept and Maison Deco, and for the other furniture items, we worked with Maison Deco, Domicilio, The Home or Ioooi. Curtains were custom-made by Karo.
Special attention was paid to the lighting; adapted to each space, it creates a scenic, dynamic atmosphere. The wooden panels and color games give even more warmth to the space, and all functional and decorative elements are reflected in the intimate space of this home and define the private environment.
The spatial organization very well expresses the architects' rational and architectural approach, and the Nordic style thus receives the warmth it needs to be easily assimilated by a potential tenant.
In the case of this apartment as well, new furnishing alternatives were proposed for each functional unit. This was only possible with custom-made furniture.
