Playful expression in interior design has taken on new proportions in recent years. More and more designers are adopting playful motifs and patterns with abstract geometric shapes in intense, cheerful colors that brighten the overall atmosphere.
Following a similar pattern are those from Widawscy Studio of Architecture who decorated an apartment in Poland full of eye-catching elements in every corner.
Original elements can be found at every turn: colors, shapes, and structures that decorate the living room, dining room, stairs, and bathrooms.
The living area is beautifully defined by white walls and the brick structure supporting the fireplace. The most interesting feature, however, is the wall incorporating both the bookcase and television, concealed behind sliding doors that move to reveal either the bookcase or the television at a time.
It's a clever design, and the combination of glossy white and wood shelving elegantly decorates the wall.
The apartment has a U-shaped structure. Thus, what appears to be a hallway from the living room is actually the kitchen, where the brick wall serves as a recurring motif. On the next side, the kitchen continues into the dining area, with a colorful decor and interesting elements. An industrial-style table, yellow Eames chairs, and white lighting fixtures with black grilles.
The wall opposite the brick one is white and decorated with a stylized world map, completed in places with photographs of loved ones and amusing moments.
Upstairs, guided by stairs illuminated at the base of each step, we ascend. Colors and unique elements are not absent here either. In the bedroom, white predominates, interrupted by black accents on the sloping wall, the tripod lamp, rug, and frames of paintings leaning against the wall and placed directly on the floor.
The divider between the sink and bedroom is made of colored glass bordered with black stripes.
How yellow can a bathroom be? Very yellow, we'll answer. Yellow inserts predominate throughout the entire house, found in various forms in every room, culminating in the bathrooms. An original aspect that this house explores and which we invite you to explore in detail in the gallery above.
