We are talking today about a truly surprising interior design project signed by the team of architects from Pure-Mess Design. They won us over some time ago with this room straight out of a fairytale, and now they propose a new project. Here's what architect Sergiu Califar tells us about this apartment he worked on with great passion:

The concept of this apartment located in the Pipera neighborhood of Bucharest, within the Green Vista complex, started from integrating a cohesive and modern design with strong accents taken from the art deco style.

The 124 square meter apartment was initially planned with 4 rooms, a spacious living room and 3 bedrooms, a space that did not fully meet the needs of the young family with one child.

Thus, we proposed two different styles in the context of a singular aspect, emphasizing uniqueness through the use of art deco accents that we will encounter in small details rendered by colors, textures and composition.

We opted for a unitary arrangement so that each room is in harmony with the other. For this reason, we outlined the space in 3 shades and tones of gray (light gray, stone gray and dark gray), to highlight the accents of indigo blue and curry yellow.

The dining area did not exist in the initial plan. To optimize every corner and room, we decided to integrate the 3 glazed walls from the aluminum structure. Thus, the dining space becomes a true point of interest within the arrangement, also highlighting the panorama enjoyed by this apartment.

Since the living area is designed as a rectangular open space, we opted for a unitary design between the kitchen and living room areas, using the same materials and textures.

Located in the opposite corner of the living room, the kitchen does not have a natural light source. Therefore, we resorted to tricks such as mirrors that create the impression of more space, thus increasing the brightness of this functionality.

The living room is the room with the most important perspectives, both from the entrance hall and from the night area. The centerpiece of the room is the sofa which we customized together with our suppliers. For these spaces, we chose to emphasize 3, maximum 5 impact elements so as not to overload the space.

The bathrooms are equipped with two types of rectified marble tiles, from the Fap Ceramic collection. The guest bathroom has a warm and welcoming contrast, the pleasant shade being suitable for a small space.

The master bathroom follows the classic contour of the art deco current, being highlighted by furniture with slight feminine accents and the bronze-colored panel in the shower area.

The master bedroom breathes a classic air, surrounded by modern elements. The decorative texture of the walls creates a pleasant organization and contrast against the neutral beige tones. The bedroom's color scheme defines a calm and relaxing atmosphere, but elegant at the same time.
