When a passionate interior designer renovates their own apartment, we can expect something extraordinary. Emily Henderson, the designer in question, planned the renovation of the bathroom in her recently purchased apartment for 3 months.
During these 3 months, Emily initially searched for the perfect color palette for her bathroom. She chose a combination of blue, white, and gold, which she highlighted through the quality and shape of the objects used.
Installing the tiles was the biggest challenge, considering their atypical shape required an atypical installation and joining them, especially at the corners, had to be done perfectly so as not to ruin the wave effect of the marine decor.
In this arrangement we find objects and decorations that we wouldn't normally find in a bathroom: a painting above the toilet, one next to the shower, and a family photograph with a gold frame. In this way, the designer managed to create a warm, familiar atmosphere even in the room where we are used to not having it.
