Projects before and after are among our favorites. The transformations of these spaces are a true source of inspiration for all of us, so we invite you to learn more about such a project in the following.

We're talking about a 15 square meter kitchen in an apartment building. The beneficiaries wanted a refurbishment that would make the kitchen space efficient and functional, including a dining area as it existed before the renovation works.

None of the existing furniture was kept, not even the door at the entrance to the room. Everything received a new face with a contemporary design.

To achieve the desired functionality, a reorganization of the work areas was relied upon. We thus have furniture arranged on three sides, each belonging to a work area. The introduction of a new unit, namely the kitchen island used as a cooking zone, ensures more space on the countertop but also more storage spaces.

On the other side of the kitchen, near the entrance door, a built-in section was designed to house two ovens and the refrigerator. A gypsum partition delimits this section from the rest of the room, namely the space intended for meals.

Chromatically, neutral tones predominate, delicate grays to amplify the space and keep it as bright as possible. The windows also help a lot, allowing a generous amount of natural light. That's why the dining area was designed in this perimeter.

For an extra touch of interest, building shapes were created from plywood, cut precisely with the help of a laser, and images were inserted next to them.

Special attention was paid to lighting. Recessed spotlights ensure uniform light throughout the kitchen, while LED strips provide accent lighting necessary in cooking areas; above the table, a pendant lamp was added to draw attention to this area, giving it its own personality.

Touches of color, plants, curtains and small accessories create a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
