For some of us, bicycles have become a part of our lives, and these objects that ensure our daily freedom of movement also need some storage solutions to match.

Wooden shelves, metal hooks, and cables hung from the ceiling are just a few of the inventions that cycling enthusiasts have found over time to integrate their bicycle into the decor of their home.

Open GaleriaModel 1 The Japanese store Muu Design Studio is the one that put this bike stand up for sale. This ingenious object transforms the bicycle into a real armchair. The table incorporated into this stand has a hole in which the bicycle wheel can enter, and the owner can sit at this table directly on two wheels.

Imagine cafes or terraces where people can socialize sitting at such tables.

Model 2 Simple and elegant, this bicycle storage solution was created by designer Chris Brigham from the Knife & Saw studio. "The Bicycle Shelf," as it was named, is a wooden accessory with an angled niche that allows you to slide the bike up the wall without disturbing books or other objects placed on the shelf.

Model 3 This bicycle rack in the shape of a comb was created by Knowhow Shop from Los Angeles and represents a public art piece in Roanoke, Virginia.

Model 4 "Bike Hanger" could be an intelligent solution for storing bicycles in cities. This project was materialized in Seoul, South Korea. The rotating hanger can store between 20 and 36 bikes and attaches to the sides of buildings to avoid interfering with street traffic.

It is made from recycled plastic bottles and stainless steel, and would only need proper lubrication to run smoothly.

Model 5 Storing your bike at height is a great way to free up space in your home, especially if you have high ceilings. The mechanism shown in the image, consisting of clamps and strong cables, can easily lift and raise the bicycle as close to the ceiling as possible.

Model 6 Discreet but secure, this Gladiator Claw hook can hang a bike from the ceiling incredibly easily. This hook automatically grabs or releases the bike tire with a simple press of a button.

Model 7 This stand was created by designer Yoann Henry Yvon, who wanted to bring a splash of color to the boring backdrop of the city of Valencia, Spain.

Model 8 Cycloc, this wall-mounted bicycle storage solution, was designed by Andrew Lang. The stand is available in white, orange, green or black. Cycloc can support a bike, either vertically or horizontally, can be locked in any position and offers a storage solution for other accessories such as gloves.

Model 9 While not very space-efficient, this tree-like bicycle rack is certainly a wonderful way to store bicycles in public places. It was designed and built in West Michigan by Vern Ohlman.

Model 10 What if you have a bike but no garage for it? You can buy a tent that can be set up in the courtyard of your house or apartment building.
