The old apartment underwent a complete overhaul of finishes, sanitary installations, and carpentry, with rigorous execution of furniture pieces.

Initially, the architects hoped for a closer connection between the living area and the lounge, intending to demolish an existing wall they believed to be made of cinder block. However, it turned out to be concrete, forcing them to rethink the layout of that space. The estimated budget for this renovation is €20,000, including appliances and furniture.

Clients desired a functional and spacious apartment for a family of four with multiple storage spaces, a neutral and discreetly comfortable living space atmosphere. If we were to describe this design in just a few words, they would be: minimal, utility-focused and efficient, and of course, aesthetically pleasing.

Materials used for building furniture pieces are: MDF painted matte white fronts, ash veneer, ash pal, countertops and quartz for small wall sections. Most furniture pieces are custom-made by Fronte Group. The sofa, dining table, and chairs are from Ikea, while appliances are from Ariston and Samsung.

Finishes that enhance the décor include reconditioned solid wood parquet flooring and, in some rooms, travertine and mosaic tile flooring.
