What you need to know about muscat
Muscats should not be watered too much. Once every two days is ideal for this plant.
Muscat feels good in any kind of pots, but unglazed clay pots that breathe are recommended. Do not put them in plastic pots or metal pots.
Muscat needs a well-draining soil because it does not tolerate excess water. It needs special fertilizer and the soil to be of the best quality.
They need sun but not in excess. Place them by the window so that they have sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon.
The soil in which they will be planted must be slightly acidic, consisting of an equal mixture of peat, sand and garden soil which must be changed and refreshed annually. For flowering, the optimal temperature is 25 degrees.
Pruning muscats is mandatory because it helps develop side branches and stimulates lateral branching.
Muscats can smell like cinnamon, apple, roses, mint, lemons, pineapple, nutmeg, limes, coconut, oranges.
