We are in the midst of preparations for the holidays. The Christmas tree is decorated, our home is ready, and we are taking care of the last details for Christmas days. We all want to have a beautifully decorated home and impress our guests as soon as they step into our dwelling. Let's pay some attention to how we decorate our hallway.
We can start with the front door. A wreath made of fir branches with a few small decorations can be the simplest option. We can fix it on the door or with a ribbon above the door frame, either inside or outside.
The furniture in the hallway, whether it's a coat rack or a dresser, is an excellent place to put two small pots with fir trees or two holly sprigs; a bauble, a scented candle and that's it for the decor.
If you have a painting on the hallway wall, a nice arrangement of fir branches placed above it can be an effective idea. Also, a string of colorful lights will attract everyone's attention, creating a festive atmosphere. You can place them around the mirror or, if possible, mount them on the ceiling like a shower of lights.
For those with a more spacious hallway, you can even set up a second Christmas tree that you can decorate in the same style as the one in the living room or, conversely, in a different way to contrast the decor of the room.
Last but not least, if your hallway includes stairs, then don't neglect them and give them a suitable decoration; garlands with baubles and ribbons twisted around the banister, candle holders or even Christmas figurines.
