A 55-square-meter apartment is taken and decorated with a neutral white base, blue, orange, and red accents are added, resulting in the perfect setting for a modern home. Let's find out more about this arrangement and how it can inspire you for your own house.
GaleriaBeneficiara worked with a designer to advise her on optimal renovation decisions. Thus, after discussions, they concluded that no modifications would be made to the configuration of the apartment and that each room would remain in its initial position.
One option would have been to remove the wall between the kitchen and bedroom and transform it into an open-space living area.
Stylistically, a modern approach was desired, with classic elements to give the arrangement an elegant touch. The decoration started with a white base, over which colored accents were added for each room, and decorative profiles, skirting boards, and cornices were used on the walls. Great attention was paid to these details, using quality products.
The furniture itself is minimal, but the pieces that make up each area manage to stand out either through color, texture, or contrast.
The kitchen is the first room visible from the hallway. In a 9-square-meter space, all the necessary pieces for optimal functioning have been integrated, including an elegant dining area; work areas are arranged linearly, incorporating appliances. The blue front stands out and associates harmoniously with a Roman-style curtain.
Otherwise, the space remains neutral, with white and very light grays to amplify brightness.
For the 11-square-meter bedroom, the same minimalist line was used, eliminating storage from this space. Thus, the room remains airy and allows for a very comfortable double bed. The accent element that changes the entire decor is the bed frame with a headboard upholstered in red material.
The decorative profiles used on the walls add elegance to the arrangement and harmoniously complement the design of the bed and nightstands. A mirror placed on the wall opposite the bed also plays an important role, creating a sense of spaciousness through its positioning.
