Accustomed to the white and gray we often find as a common denominator in Scandinavian interiors, we were pleasantly surprised to see so many colors integrated into a typical Nordic apartment. We loved the chromatic combinations and the brightness of the entire space. It's worth admiring it yourself!
We are talking about a 3-room apartment with an area of 66 square meters in Stockholm. Atypical for the Nordic space, this interior design pleasantly surprises with its bohemian style, comfortable and inspiring relaxation and tranquility. The decor includes colorful pieces, inspired by both modern and traditional styles while maintaining elements of the Scandinavian style.
In the living area, functions are located in an open plan, with partitions delimiting the living room from the kitchen or the hallway from the living room. Everything blends harmoniously to keep the layout as bright and fluid as possible.
The furniture pieces do not overwhelm the space. Accessories and decorations play an important role by conferring a personal character on the interior design. The conversation area is wonderfully complemented by decorative cushions on the sofa and a rug with ethnic motifs. The open-shelf unit acts as a delimiter between the hallway and the living room, allowing light to penetrate along the hallway.
The walls were painted white as a base for the colors integrated in various forms in the decor. At the same time, white increases brightness and makes the space appear larger. The doors of the rooms are also white, following the same reasoning. The essence of wood at the level of the parquet flooring balances the chromatic palette and imprints warmth on the space.
In the kitchen, turquoise stands out against the white background of the cabinets. Arranged in an L-shape, the kitchen ensures the functionality you need for cooking and storage. The partition created to separate the cooking area from the living room incorporates appliances as efficiently as possible. It is a modern kitchen with a simple and functional design.
Continuing on from it, there was a dining area set up. The industrial-style lighting fixture provides direct light over the table.
