This apartment was designed for a young woman who loves colors. The space is a cheerful one with accents of yellow, blue and orange, all on a light gray base. The small size of the dwelling was a challenge, but the result is as successful as possible. Here are some details that can inspire you too.
The surface area of the space is 35 square meters, arranged in two rooms: a living room with an open kitchen and a small bedroom. To obtain a coherent and functional layout, the young woman chose to keep the existing configuration. This way, she can enjoy a comfortable bedroom as well as storage spaces.
For the living area, she opted for simple furniture, with the basic pieces. On one side of the room, the kitchen was set up with the essentials, with hanging cabinets and a small dining area. On the other side, we find the living room, with a corner sofa and a wall-mounted television. Just before entering the bedroom, a small niche houses a bookcase with open shelves and a cabinet with doors.
Chromatically, white and gray predominate, and yellow accents brighten up the entire design. Everything is balanced, with the right dosage of grays and bold colors. The wallpaper with a colorful print adds an extra touch of interest to the decor and breaks up the monotony of the gray with which the walls were painted. Part of the storage was set up in the hallway in the form of a sliding door cabinet with mirrored panels.
For the bedroom, the same minimalist line focused on functionality was used. Since the space is long and narrow, the bed was positioned by the window. Continuing along it, the young woman wanted a large dressing table and makeup area, a place to gather her cosmetics, perfumes and jewelry. Two accent lights mounted under the shelf provide the necessary lighting.
The dressing room space is a great plus for this layout. Although it reduced the room size, the pantry transformed into a dressing room provides the young woman with generous storage spaces for both clothes and shoes.
Bold colors are also found in the bathroom. Orange is the accent color that immediately catches your eye. Everything is balanced with white and evenly spaced lights.
