Inspiration for decorating your home can be found in the most diverse sources. Nature themes or the colors of a season are among the most common motifs used in decor. We liked this arrangement through the harmonious combination of shades, textures and the pleasant feeling it evokes overall. Let's discover it in detail.
Wood gives the arrangement a unitary character. The same type of parquet is found throughout the floor, from the hallway to the living room and bedroom, with the exception of the bathroom. The predominant colors are cool, such as blue and gray in different tones, but the lights and texture of the wood manage to balance and warm the space.
The configuration of the apartment is a 2-room one, the living room and kitchen forming a unitary whole in the daytime area. The design is simple so that the space is not overwhelmed by furniture pieces or unnecessary details. The style reminds us of the retro period but also of Scandinavian interior influences.
The arrangement for the living space focuses on functionality. In a single room, we find 3 distinct functions that blend harmoniously: the conversation area, the dining area and the kitchen. The accent wall contoured with the help of a wallpaper with an organic print brings variety to the monotony of the room.
The dining area located near the window discreetly marks the transition between the living room and the kitchen. Here, the arrangement was thought out as a unit, with furniture arranged in the shape of the letter L and built-in appliances. The cabinets go all the way to the ceiling, maximizing storage.
Lighting fixtures highlight each function, from general lighting to ambient or accent lighting; the floor lamp next to the armchair is worth noting, together forming an excellent reading spot.
The bedroom takes over the living room's chromatic palette but also the nature theme; the wallpaper with an organic motif is also found here, complementing the neutral color scheme. Minimalism is also treated in this area of the house, the furniture being adapted to the space and dimensions, with multiple shades of grays. Classic bedside tables have been replaced with 2 side tables that take up little floor space.
Despite a color palette that might seem too cool, the space is harmonious and decorated for comfortable living, adapted to a modern lifestyle. We hope it inspires you too!
