Inspiration for today comes in the form of this 3-bedroom apartment, modernly furnished. The space is approached in a contemporary manner, with an emphasis on common areas, the living room and the kitchen.
We are talking about a 74 square meter apartment for a family with two children. They wanted a modern space, furnished as simply as possible, with a living room that connects to the kitchen and comfortable bedrooms.
Thus, the living area was outlined minimally to keep the room as airy as possible, with play space for the children. The sofa is comfortable, the model being chosen to provide seating for all members of the household. The idea of a coffee table was abandoned for the same reason mentioned above. The transition to the kitchen is direct, only the dining area being arranged between the two functions.
The family did not want a television in the living room, just a bookcase with open shelves that was built into a niche near the kitchen.
Neutral, light shades were used which outline a pleasant, warm atmosphere. Color accents such as yellow bring joy and dynamism to the room. With the help of optimally chosen lighting fixtures, a pleasant ambiance was achieved, according to the needs of each function.
For the kitchen, the same neutral tones were chosen for the furniture. The linear, compact layout does not clutter the space, and built-in appliances ensure an orderly character within the decor.
The master bedroom receives a large amount of natural light thanks to wide windows. With the help of thick curtains, the space becomes intimate again. Neutral tones also prevail here, but with accents of cooler colors, such as blue.
