Inspiration for the day comes from an apartment in Sofia. Elegant and functional, this design offers us inspiration sources for each room. But let's see the project in detail.
With a surface area of 85 square meters, the 3-room apartment describes a contemporary style, with minimalist decor, focused on the functions of the space.
Thus, in the living area, probably the most spacious in the house, the kitchen communicates directly with the living room. We thus have an open-plan kitchen, a space centered on socializing between family members or their guests.
Considering the configuration of the space, the kitchen is divided into 2 zones: on one side the space for cooking and storage (including the refrigerator) and on the other side the washing area including storage cabinets. The space is efficiently used, with cabinets going up to the ceiling. The front between the cabinets attracts attention through the use of black Metro-type ceramic tiles.
In contrast to the white furniture and wooden countertop, the black accent is a simple way to bring an area of interest into any kitchen.
The dining area makes a discreet transition towards the living room. Color accents are not missing here either; yellow Eames-type chairs and the oversized lighting fixture highlight this part of the design. We were also drawn to the floor, which delimits the kitchen area from the living room through decorative ceramic tiles.
For the living room, the design maintains a minimalist tone. Touches of color come to add a touch of personality. Curtains, decorative pillows and paintings all contribute to shaping the accents in the decor. The corner sofa and the TV console constitute the little furniture we encounter in this area of the house.
In the bedroom, the space does not seem cramped at all, as we often encounter in designs. The bed with its metal frame attracts attention while being the main element of the room. The two suspended light fixtures, as well as the bedside tables (one white and one black, with different designs) harmoniously frame the bed. Built-in wardrobes offer storage space for clothes.
