This wonderful apartment we want to talk about today is located in Sweden and has completely won us over. With a 2-room configuration, including a living room, open kitchen, and bedroom, the layout takes us towards a true Scandinavian style, with carefully chosen pieces that create an elegant, refined decor.
The apartment is located in a historic building built in 1914, hence specific elements such as the high ceiling of up to 3 meters or the stucco work. You will surely notice the beautiful windowsills in the living room and bedroom, comfortably furnished for moments of relaxation or reading.
The layout is airy and bright, with furniture that doesn't clutter the space. The selected pieces beautify through their design the living room. The sofa, coffee table, or small decorations inspire a classic, refined atmosphere.
Chromatically, white and discreet grays predominate. The stucco work and the entire window area, including the sills, are highlighted with a darker gray to emphasize the importance and beauty within the decor.
The kitchen and dining area are open-plan in the hallway leading to the living room. The furniture is arranged on two equal sides, with built-in appliances to enhance the unified character of the layout. The gray cabinets with leather handles and the composite countertop imitating granite give a sophisticated touch to the kitchen.
Suspended cabinets with glass doors allow for creative storage.
The passage to the bedroom is directly from the living room. The space dedicated to the sleeping area is small and narrow, with the bed being the main piece of furniture in this room. Shelves with decorations and the wide windowsill offer an extra touch of personality to the space. The main storage area is concentrated in the living room and hallway area through the tall cabinets mounted in this perimeter.
Brass accessories found in the bathroom area, as well as in the kitchen, add a touch of style to the layout, especially in the bathroom where the black-and-white contrast could be easily monotonous.
