In our search for summer spots to spend our free time, we felt the need to refresh this list with something more special. That's how we found Creamier, and, as you can see in the title description, this is the place where specialty coffee met artisanal ice cream.
The establishment is located in a quiet and bohemian area of Bucharest, on Benjamin Franklin Street, no. 5, behind the Athenaeum.
Deschide GaleriaCreamier has found its home in an interwar house which, at the time of takeover by the current owner, was in an advanced state of degradation. The fit-out works lasted approximately five months, and the design is signed Lama Architecture, experts in the field of café and bar design.
At Creamier, the decor features subtle industrial accents of wood, metal, and ceramics, "sweetened" by the vibrant colors of the tiles. This space breathes a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both coming with family to enjoy a refreshing ice cream and for taking a social break with colleagues from the office.
The concept proposed by Creamier is quite new in Bucharest: a café-gelateria.
Here, on the one hand, you can enjoy a quality coffee, carefully prepared, and on the other hand, ice cream lovers will not be disappointed either: ice cream with vanilla, pistachio, chocolate, coffee, mint flavors; then other less classic varieties: hazelnut, amaretto, zabaglione (with egg liqueur) or lavender.
The menu will also be enriched with various seasonal sorbets: strawberry, lemon, apple, pumpkin (you'll feel like you're eating apple or pumpkin pie), and one of the most interesting sorbets: lime, basil, mint.
Soon, a small terrace will also open in front of the establishment. As the weather outside is perfect for leaving the house, we invite you to stop by Creamier. The cheerful and nonconformist atmosphere, along with the delicious ice creams on the menu, will be convincing enough to make you want to return here with pleasure.
