You're on the verge of renovation and constantly envisioning how your new living room will look. Ideas, plans, they all swirl in your mind, yet you haven't managed to decide on the details. Colors, furniture, textures, layout, finishes, decorations – a multitude of options and variations from which to choose.
We don't know your exact preferences, but we can offer some ideas and images from which you can extract elements that you like, resonate with, and could potentially integrate into your living room design.
If you can't decide on a color, I recommend choosing The album It will provide the perfect setting for you to explore nuances and textures as accent elements that dress up a décor. Moreover, white reflects light and will enhance the feeling of spaciousness in the room.
Think carefully when choosing your furniture. Don't overload the walls of the room with unnecessary wardrobes, drawers, and dressers just to have enough storage space. The more furniture you have, the more tempted you are to collect and fill it with things.
My advice is to adopt a minimalist style that reflects both in the layout and the lines of the furniture pieces. Opt for low furniture, possibly all white with a glossy surface (if the space is not very generous) or in the natural color of the wood. For an airy space, you can add 2-3 shelves as support for a few discreet decorations.
The idea of open shelving is worth considering (see proposals in the gallery).
Go for the idea of contrasts. Don't leave all the decor white. A brown-black coffee table or black framed paintings, decorative cushions in various shades to highlight the sofa – these are just a few options to consider. But don't overdo it! Too many colors together, too many contrasts, will create an unpleasant effect.
If you still desire accents of grays and/or black, saturated colors, make sure there is a balance between them and, above all, that there is enough light to open up the space and enhance them.
Be bold and try a new approach! Modern abstract art paintings, graphics, or decorative wallpaper are two options that decorators are increasingly choosing.
Don't ignore the importance lighting fixtures An oversized piece or one with minimalist lines, in white or black, will complete the space of a contemporary living room. In modern interiors, lighting fixtures are considered true decorations, statement pieces that enhance a modern ambiance.
To illustrate the points above, I have selected several living room models to serve as a source of inspiration, whether you desire a complete transformation or just a rearrangement.
