Today's inspiration comes from architect Cristian Emanuel Patrascu in the form of a 3-room apartment design with an area of 90 square meters in Bucharest.

The generous surface represented both a privilege and a challenge in negotiating spaces. Thus, the architect wanted to take advantage of the potential of the living area while also controlling the connections between hallways and the proper living room.

He proposed 2 furniture structures with open shelves to allow light penetration and offer storage possibilities. In support of this proposal, there is also a third shelf that functions as a bookcase.

The design follows a Scandinavian inspiration line, highlighting a close connection with nature through the use of many natural materials such as balsa wood, rattan, solid wood, and various weaves, as well as wallpaper illustrating birch trunks. Plants also play an important role in the design, being present in most rooms.

The living area includes 4 functions: the entrance vestibule outlined with the help of open shelves intended for plant display, a dining area, a conversation area with a generous sofa that continues with a bookcase, located in a transit area.

The color used predominantly is white, accents being given by objects made of different wood essences, shades of gray as well as yellow, turquoise and mint green accents. As accessories, the lighting fixtures stand out, all different, the common denominator being their industrial design.

The kitchen adopts the theme set in the living room, with a dominant white interspersed with color accents given by tableware, decorative objects or paintings of cities visited by the beneficiaries. Wood also intervenes in various places such as the worktop, door handles, storage shelf or folding table.

In the bedroom, the nature theme is resumed through the wallpapered wall, while wood and white communicate harmoniously. A tall dressing was preferred to increase storage efficiency; a television was also installed here.

The third room, transformed into an office, includes workspaces. Desks and individual lights personalize these spaces. Color accents are found at the level of storage units, and the wallpapered wall has a design specific to a workspace.

Taking into account the beneficiaries' wishes, the architect managed to obtain a unitary design in all rooms, a base that can be interpreted and adapted according to the future needs of the beneficiaries.
