The arrangement that pleasantly surprised us and which we want you to know is that of a 2-room apartment of only 50 sqm. The owner, a young, active woman, wanted a space with a strong character, one that would inspire her every time she came home.

Thus, the decor reflects the chromatic and stylistic preferences of the owner, from the general layout to the smallest details.

The apartment consists of a spacious daytime area in the form of an open space (entrance hall, living room and kitchen) and a nighttime area (bedroom and dressing room). The dark oak wood flooring unifies the spaces, emphasizing the kitchen and hallway area with a marble insert.

The decor stands out through clean, geometric lines, with industrial influences and gold details. Strong color contrasts highlight the individuality of the apartment, without allowing the darker shades to optically reduce the space.

We thus find the general white of the arrangement in contrast with the dark blue wall adjacent to the kitchen; the black tile backsplash in contrast with the glossy white kitchen furniture; the dark green shade of the curtains with the lighter tones of the walls.

Superimposed on the chromatic balance, we encounter a path of lights and lighting fixtures. Carefully chosen, recessed spotlights, pendant lamps and track lighting complement the style of the arrangement in a discreet way, without distracting attention from the main furniture pieces.

In the kitchen, the lighting consists of spotlights embedded in the ceiling, a set of 3 pendant lamps and a LED strip at the bottom of the suspended cabinets. The metal pendant lamps above the bedside tables are a modern alternative to traditional nightlights, and the fact that they reflect in the mirrors next to the bedside tables contributes to an optical illusion of enlarging the space.

The smoked glass lighting fixtures above the bar are centered on the thickness of the wall, emphasizing the delimitation between the kitchen and the living room.

Continuing the visual of the flooring onto the headboard wall creates a spectacular three-dimensional effect while adding warmth to the bedroom. Here we also find the intense green shade from the living room as an accent on the headboard and pillows. A similar shade is found on the doors of the bathroom furniture.

This is built-in, and the black marble countertop makes a harmonious transition to the white tile walls.

We hope that the concept of this arrangement has inspired you and that you will not be afraid to use intense color accents in your project.
