Two English designers took on the challenge of decorating an apartment with a surface area of only 17 square meters. Through this project, they showed that space does not compromise the style in which you want to furnish an apartment and that, through a few ingenious ideas, you can maximize the space and decorate it as you like.
Opening the GalleryWhite walls are a way to create a maximizing effect, but it is not a rule. The two designers used orange for the walls and created the illusion of openness through an oversized mirror that imitated a door. For this apartment, they gave up on bulky furniture which would have overloaded the space, opting instead for baskets and boxes for storage.

The striped rug serves to create movement, dynamism, effects necessary for a small room.
In the main room, the color scheme continued with two orange armchairs and black-and-white wallpaper. Above the armchairs, the designers placed a shelf very high up to give the impression of height. At night, the living room becomes a bedroom, the two extendable armchairs turning into a double bed.

These chameleon-like pieces of furniture are means by which the small number of rooms allows them to be used for multiple purposes at different times of the day.
