The cheerful atmosphere, many pastel colors, delicate floral motifs, and numerous ornamental details in the furniture are characteristic of the Provençal style, a very delicate and feminine one.
Open Gallery This project is a very dear one to the architect, as the beneficiary is her own mother. There weren't many requirements, but challenges arose along the way, as it was a relatively small space where the creation of multiple zones was desired without suffocating the entire design.
They jointly chose the Provençal style, with its delicacy and ornaments, to shape a bright, comfortable home that would reflect the personality of the owner.
Initially, the apartment was open space; to meet storage needs and delimit spaces, niches were created in the walls for built-in wardrobes and dressers, and the bathroom was slightly enlarged to accommodate a washing machine.
The bedroom was delimited from the rest of the home by a sliding door with frosted glass panels to allow diffused natural light to pass through.
Chromatically, shades of powder pink, pastel green, and light blue predominate. We find them both in the wall finishes and in the furniture and decorations.
Floral motifs are present in every corner of the design and harmoniously complete the concept. Even in the bathroom, a wallpaper with floral motifs was installed on the upper part of the walls.
The wide-plank parquet flooring elegantly completes the entire design.
