When you have 90 square meters at your disposal, you can explore. Styles, finishes, decorations, functions, you have a freedom of expression that many would envy. But I don't want to talk about that in this article, but about how the arrangement of a home can surprise you.
Certainly, this approach by the architects from 2B Group is unconventional with original ideas and effects that intrigue you. It is even difficult to classify it into a certain style: minimalist-industrial-vintage. We find a little bit of each, well punctuated and integrated into the overall composition.
The first things that strike you are the yellow sofa and the exposed brick wall in the living area. And then, one by one, you discover an atypical kitchen, a bedroom with a canopy bed which is actually just a white metal frame extending from the bed base.
The spaces are open, communicating with each other through the same type of flooring found throughout the entire design (except for the bathroom). The simplicity of the design amazes you in a way that is hard to explain.
Each function is delimited and well highlighted by its own features and original accessories, but at the same time it creates the impression of a very minimal space through which you move freely.
The brick wall outlines the limits of the living room, the sofa being the same length as the portion covered with brick. The color chosen for the sofa takes the room out of the monotony of white. The fireplace and wood in the corner of the furniture remind us of Scandinavian decor.
Throughout the arrangement there are no cupboards or furniture to overload the walls, only small decorations that originally personalize each area. Special in this sense is the reading corner by the window, where books are arranged on shelves made from vintage suitcases.
The kitchen is compact, with many cabinets built into the wall, with glossy MDF fronts reflecting the light of spotlights mounted along their entire length. The appliances are also integrated into this structure, most of them being hidden so as not to disrupt the design line.
